小儿肺寒咳嗽，用华盖散；若服凉药，并止咳药更咳者，当服五膈散；若咳嗽面目浮肿者，服平胃散；咳而面赤者，上焦有热也，知母黄芩汤。（咳而面赤属上焦实热者，宜用知母黄芩，若咳甚而面赤兼呕涎沫者，则当以温补气血为宜。）
