唐大历中，彭偃未仕时，尝有人谓曰：“君当得珠而贵，后且有祸。”寻为官得罪，谪为澧州司马。既至，以江中多蚌，偃喜，以为珠可取，即命人采之。获蚌甚多，而卒无有应。及朱泚反，召偃为伪中书舍人，偃方悟得珠，乃朱泚。
