唐祁县有村民，因辇地征刍粟至太原府。及归，途中日暮，有一白衣妇人，立路旁谓村民：曰“妾今日都城而来，困且甚，愿寄载车中可乎？”村民许之，乃升车。行未三四里，因脂辖，忽见一孤尾在车之隙，中垂于车辕下。村民即以镰断之。其妇人化为无尾白狐，鸣嗥而去。
